Canadian Fitness Star, Jari Love Goes for the Gold w/ New “Get EXTREMELY RIPPED! ™1000” and Inspires Others to Dream Big
Launches DVD Tuesday, October 6, 2009 across Canada
Toronto ON – September 15, 2009 — Canadian fitness professional, Jari Love, creator and star of the wildly successful “Get RIPPED! ™” workout DVD series, is back with a brand new DVD release – “Get Extremely RIPPED!™ 1000.” On the heels of the incredibly successful DVD, “Get EXTREMELY RIPPED!™” that soared to number one on Amazon.com in May 2009, “Get EXTREMELY RIPPED!™ 1000” has already clinched the 4th spot on Amazon.com best-sellers list. The DVD launches in Canada on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 and promises to take Canadians to a new level of fitness with features like interval training with three-minute cardio workouts followed by one minute of double-duty strength training.
“This workout will deliver results,” says Love. “All the exercises are tested on a metabolic cart and are proven calorie burners that will elevate your heart-rate during the exercises long after you are done. It’s a great way to lose weight and keep it off.”
Get EXTREMELY RIPPED with two fast-paced and fun 30-minute workouts, or one 60-minute program with some light weights, an optional step and an exercise mat. This workout promises to deliver more than just weight-loss—it also offers a healthy and positive way to cope with stress.
“I really believe that exercise is a good solution to stress, depression and in these times, something that will help people cope more positively with the recession,” says Love.
Becoming North America’s top fitness star has not been an easy ride. For the first time, Love shares her personal story—at a young age, her family lost their home. Death of her infant brother, her mother’s undiagnosed schizophrenia, her father’s job-loss due to recession, and their subsequent divorce wreaked havoc on Love’s childhood. She vividly remembers the trauma and stigma of nearly being homeless.
“Many people told me that I will never amount to anything,” she recalls. “I hope the fact that I’ve created success for myself inspires others who encounter negativity and adversity.”
Love moved out at the age of 19 after enduring years of emotional abuse, family turmoil and a failed attempt at country music. Stress, coupled with her newfound freedom resulted in a 40 pound weight gain. Realizing that she needed to make changes, Love began working at a local fitness club and worked herself back into shape. Her passion for the fitness industry was sparked when she instructed her first fitness class.
After her marriage to Ray Love—owner of “Fitness Plus”, a popular Calgary gym with two locations, Love began teaching her unique workout that would ultimately be known as the popular “Get RIPPED!™” workout program within the fitness world.
In 2005 at the age of 35, Love produced her first “Get RIPPED!™” DVD and continues to inspire and substantially increase her fan-base who swear by her fitness regime. “Get Extremely RIPPED!™ 1000” is her sixth DVD in the “Get RIPPED!™” workout series.
